Critical role of keratinocytes and protease‐activated receptor 2 in secondary lymphedema development
Activated keratinocytes play an important role in the early stage of the pathophysiology of secondary lymphedema through PAR2 signaling. Lymphatic injury‐induced protease activation stimulates keratinocyte PAR2 signaling, driving hyperkeratosis and Th2 inflammation, which can be therapeutically attenuated by teriflunomide. Abstract Background Secondary

CCP1A, a polysaccharide purified from Cinnamomum cassia with a molecular weight of approximately 8.16 kDa and rich in glucose and galacturonic acid, exerts anti‐type 2 diabetes effects through a multi‐target synergistic mechanism. On one hand, it delays intestinal glucose absorption by inhibiting the activities of α‐amylase and α‐glucosidase in the ...

RXR Gamma Enables Oligodendrocyte Differentiation by Suppressing Sonic Hedgehog Signaling
Using pharmacogenetic approaches, Baldassarro et al. demonstrate that RXRγ suppresses the SHH signaling pathway in OPCs to ensure their efficient differentiation following T3 stimulation. Accordingly, Rxrg−/− OPCs displayed compromised differentiation which was normalized by the pharmacological inhibition of the hyperactive SHH pathway.
