Predictors of response and rational combinations for the novel MCL‐1 inhibitor MIK665 in acute myeloid leukemia

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study characterizes the responses of primary acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patient samples to the MCL‐1 inhibitor MIK665. The results revealed that monocytic differentiation is associated with MIK665 sensitivity. Conversely, elevated ABCB1 expression is a potential biomarker of resistance to the treatment, which can be overcome by the combination ...

Parallel Robot Translational Performance Evaluation through Direction-Selective Index (DSI)

open access: yesJournal of Robotics, 2011
Performance indexes usually provide global evaluations of robot performances mixing their translational and/or rotational capabilities. This paper proposes a definition of performance index, called direction-selective index (DSI), which has been ...

Direct kinematics of a 3-PRPS type parallel manipulator

open access: yesВестник КазНУ. Серия математика, механика, информатика, 2020
Parallel manipulators with six degrees of freedom and three limbs have a large workspace and less complex singular configurations compared to the parallel manipulators with six degrees of freedom and six limbs. This paper is presented to solve the direct

A study of the singularity locus in the joint space of planar parallel manipulators: special focus on cusps and nodes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Cusps and nodes on plane sections of the singularity locus in the joint space of parallel manipulators play an important role in nonsingular assembly-mode changing motions.

Reduced vascular leakage correlates with breast carcinoma T regulatory cell infiltration but not with metastatic propensity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A mouse model for vascular normalization and a human breast cancer cohort were studied to understand the relationship between vascular leakage and tumor immune suppression. For this, endothelial and immune cell RNAseq, staining for vascular function, and immune cell profiling were employed.

Moveability and Collision Analysis for Fully-Parallel Manipulators [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
International audienceThe aim of this paper is to characterize the moveability of fully-parallel manipulators in the presence of obstacles. Fully parallel manipulators are used in applications where accuracy, stiffness or high speeds and accelerations ...

Detection of circulating tumor DNA in colorectal cancer patients using a methylation‐specific droplet digital PCR multiplex

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We developed a cost‐effective methylation‐specific droplet digital PCR multiplex assay containing tissue‐conserved and tumor‐specific methylation markers. The assay can detect circulating tumor DNA with high accuracy in patients with localized and metastatic colorectal cancer.

Mechanism Design and Simulation Analysis of Hybrid Serial-Parallel Underwater Dredging Manipulator

open access: yes水下无人系统学报
In recent years, underwater robots have emerged as a novel solution for the removal of sediments at the bottom of reservoirs, with underwater manipulators being the primary tool for dredging operations.

3-D Visualization on Workspace of Parallel Manipulators

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Mechanical Design, Systems, and Manufacturing, 2009
In parallel mechanisms, the form and volume of workspace also change variously with the attitude of a platform. This paper presents a method to search for the workspace of parallel mechanisms with 6-DOF and 3D visualization of the workspace. Workspace is

Parallel Manipulators with Lower Mobility [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Parallel manipulators with lower mobility (LM-PMs) are multi-loop mechanisms with less than six degrees of freedom (dofs). This type of manipulators has attracted the attention both of academic researchers and of industries since the early appearance of the DELTA robot (Clavel 1988). The DELTA robot showed that, when the manipulation task requires less
