Design and Workspace Analysis of Cable-rod Hybrid Drive Parallel Mechanism
A new type of cable-rod hybrid drive parallel mechanism is proposed, and the overall device model is built in SolidWorks. The inverse kinematics model of the mechanism is derived by using the space vector analysis method.

Evidence for a new symmetry breaking mechanism reorienting quantum Hall nematics
We report on the effect of in-plane magnetic field $B_\parallel$ on stripe phases in higher ($N=2,3$) Landau levels of a high-mobility 2D electron gas.

2RPS/2SPS Parallel Mechanism and Kinematics Analysis
Based on constraint spiral theory, the modified Grübler-Kutzbach formula is used to analyze the degree of freedom of 2RPS/2SPS parallel mechanism. The inverse positional solution equation is established by the space coordinate transformation equation and ...

A population of immature cerebellar parallel fibre synapses are insensitive to adenosine but are inhibited by hypoxia [PDF]
The purine adenosine plays an important role in a number of physiological and pathological processes and is neuroprotective during hypoxia and ischemia.

Dietary Protein Intake and Peritoneal Protein Losses in Peritoneal Dialysis Patients
ABSTRACT Introduction Peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients lose protein in their waste dialysate, potentially increasing their risk for malnutrition. We wished to determine whether there was any association between losses and dietary protein intake (DPI). Methods DPI was assessed from 24‐h dietary recall using Nutrics software.

Sustaining entrepreneurial business: a complexity perspective on processes that produce emergent practice [PDF]
This article examines the management practices in an entrepreneurial small firm which sustain the business. Using a longitudinal qualitative case study, four general processes are identified (experimentation, reflexivity, organising and sensing), that ...
