PARAMETER MISMATCHES, CHAOS SYNCHRONIZATION AND FAST DYNAMIC LOGIC GATES [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Modern Physics B, 2010
By using chaos synchronization between nonidentical multiple time delay semiconductor lasers with optoelectronic feedbacks, we demonstrate numerically how fast dynamic logic gates can be constructed. The results may be helpful in obtaining computational hardware with reconfigurable properties.

A new five-parameter MOS transistor mismatch model

open access: yes, 2013
A new five-parameter MOS transistor mismatch model is introduced capable of predicting transistor mismatch with very high accuracy for ohmic and saturation regions, including short-channel transistors. The new model is based on splitting the contribution

Chameleon sequences reveal structural effects in proteins representing micelle‐like distribution of hydrophobicity

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Amino acids sequence of two different proteins with the same sequence (chameleon sequence—black boxes) represent in 3D structure of the proteins different secondary structures: HHHH—helical and BBB—Beta‐structural. The chains folded in water environment adopt different III‐order structures in which the chameleon fragments appear to adopt similar status

Synchronization of chaotic quantum dot lasers with external feedback under parameter mismatch [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
This paper reports the numerical results on the synchronization features of a chaotic quantum dot semiconductor laser. The dynamic behavior is studied in terms of the Bloch equations model. Optimum conditions for chaotic operation are found.

A new flow chip in combination with multiphoton microscopy as a protocol for longitudinal 3D imaging of tissue calcification under shear stress

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Miniaturized flow chip platform enabling continuous perfusion and longitudinal multiphoton 3D imaging of vascular smooth muscle cell constructs under physiological flow. Brightfield imaging guides region selection, while CellTracker Green and mRuby‐labeled fetuin‐A visualize cells and mineral deposition, respectively. Magnesium supplementation markedly

Digital Calibration for Gain, Time Skew, and Bandwidth Mismatch in Under-Sampling Time-Interleaved System

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2022
This paper presents an all-digital background calibration method for gain, time skew, and bandwidth mismatch in M-channel under-sampling time-interleaved analog-to-digital converters (TI-ADCs) systems.

Antenna Gain Mismatch Calibration for Cooperative Base Stations

open access: yes, 2011
In real environments, channel reciprocity cannot be directly exploited between uplink and downlink in time division duplex (TDD) due to antenna gain mismatch. Previous work about antenna calibration mainly focused on single cell.

Clustering Algorithm Reveals Dopamine‐Motor Mismatch in Cognitively Preserved Parkinson's Disease

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To explore the relationship between dopaminergic denervation and motor impairment in two de novo Parkinson's disease (PD) cohorts. Methods n = 249 PD patients from Parkinson's Progression Markers Initiative (PPMI) and n = 84 from an external clinical cohort.

Reperfusion‐Dependent Outcomes After Endovascular Thrombectomy Stratified by NIHSS‐ASPECTS Clinical‐Core Mismatch

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective This analysis evaluates the effect of successful reperfusion on functional outcomes after MT, stratified by admission National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) and Alberta Stroke Program Early CT Score (ASPECTS) as surrogates for clinical‐core mismatch, using multicenter registry data.
