Spherical contours, IR divergences and the geometry of Feynman parameter integrands at one loop

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
Spherical contours introduced in [1] translate the concept of “discontinuity across a branch cut” to Feynman parameter space. In this paper, we further explore spherical contours and connect them to the computation of leading IR divergences of 1 loop ...

Adaptive Control of Mini Space Robot Based on Linear Separation of Inertial Parameters

open access: yesAerospace, 2023
Space robots exhibit a strong dynamic coupling between the manipulator and the base spacecraft, with this phenomenon being particularly pronounced in mini space robots.

Disruption of SETD3‐mediated histidine‐73 methylation by the BWCFF‐associated β‐actin G74S mutation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The β‐actin G74S mutation causes altered interaction of actin with SETD3, reducing histidine‐73 methylation efficiency and forming two distinct actin variants. The variable ratio of these variants across cell types and developmental stages contributes to tissue‐specific phenotypical changes. This imbalance may impair actin dynamics and mechanosensitive

A Framework for Assessing Ocean Mixed Layer Depth Evolution

open access: yesJournal of Advances in Modeling Earth Systems
The ocean surface mixed layer plays a crucial role as an entry or exit point for heat, salt, momentum, and nutrients from the surface to the deep ocean.

Exploring parameter spaces in complex dynamics

open access: yesSelecciones Matemáticas, 2023
We show the structure of the parameter space for a family of rational maps containing Blaschke products. Through numerical simulations using the orbit of a single critical point, we reveal the existence of infinitely many Mandelbrot-like sets along the ...

Circulating histones as clinical biomarkers in critically ill conditions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Circulating histones are emerging as promising biomarkers in critical illness due to their diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic potential. Detection methods such as ELISA and mass spectrometry provide reliable approaches for quantifying histone levels in plasma samples.

Measurement of bistability in a multidimensional parameter space [PDF]

open access: yesIntegrative Biology, 2017
Bistability plays an important role to generate two stable states for alternative cell fates, or to promote cellular diversity and cell cycle oscillations.

Insights into pegRNA design from editing of the cardiomyopathy‐associated phospholamban R14del mutation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals how prime editing guide RNA (pegRNA) secondary structure and reverse transcriptase template length affect prime editing efficiency in correcting the phospholamban R14del cardiomyopathy‐associated mutation. Insights support the design of structurally optimized enhanced pegRNAs for precise gene therapy.

The epithelial barrier theory proposes a comprehensive explanation for the origins of allergic and other chronic noncommunicable diseases

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Exposure to common noxious agents (1), including allergens, pollutants, and micro‐nanoplastics, can cause epithelial barrier damage (2) in our body's protective linings. This may trigger an immune response to our microbiome (3). The epithelial barrier theory explains how this process can lead to chronic noncommunicable diseases (4) affecting organs ...
