An effective scanning method of the NMSSM parameter space [PDF]
The next-to-minimal supersymmetric standard model (NMSSM) naturally provides a 125 GeV Higgs boson without the need for large loop corrections from multi-TeV stop quarks. Furthermore, the NMSSM provides an electroweak scale dark matter candidate consistent with all experimental data, like relic density and non-observation of direct dark matter signals ...

Parameter space for thermal spin-transfer torque
Thermal spin-transfer torque describes the manipulation of the magnetization by the application of a heat flow. The effect has been calculated theoretically by Jia et al. in 2011. It is found to require large temperature gradients in the order of Kelvins

Impact Parameter Space Interpretation for Generalized Parton Distributions [PDF]
The Fourier transform of generalized parton distribution functions at xi=0 describes the distribution of partons in the transverse plane. The physical significance of these impact parameter dependent parton distribution functions is discussed.

Active learning BSM parameter spaces
AbstractActive learning (AL) has interesting features for parameter scans of new models. We show on a variety of models that AL scans bring large efficiency gains to the traditionally tedious work of finding boundaries for BSM models. In the MSSM, this approach produces more accurate bounds.

The power of microRNA regulation—insights into immunity and metabolism
MicroRNAs are emerging as crucial regulators at the intersection of metabolism and immunity. This review examines how miRNAs coordinate glucose and lipid metabolism while simultaneously modulating T‐cell development and immune responses. Moreover, it highlights how cutting‐edge artificial intelligence applications can identify miRNA biomarkers ...

We achieved cytoplasmic delivery of non‐cell‐penetrating IgGs by grafting a single functional complementarity‐determining region 1 (CDR1) from the light chain variable region (VL) of the cell‐internalizable 3D8 antibody. The engineered IgG acquired cell‐penetrating ability while maintaining antigen affinity, highlighting CDR1 grafting as a promising ...

Spherical contours, IR divergences and the geometry of Feynman parameter integrands at one loop
Spherical contours introduced in [1] translate the concept of “discontinuity across a branch cut” to Feynman parameter space. In this paper, we further explore spherical contours and connect them to the computation of leading IR divergences of 1 loop ...

Adaptive Control of Mini Space Robot Based on Linear Separation of Inertial Parameters
Space robots exhibit a strong dynamic coupling between the manipulator and the base spacecraft, with this phenomenon being particularly pronounced in mini space robots.

Empirical likelihood on the full parameter space
We extend the empirical likelihood of Owen [Ann. Statist. 18 (1990) 90-120] by partitioning its domain into the collection of its contours and mapping the contours through a continuous sequence of similarity transformations onto the full parameter space.

Large multidimensional digital images of cancer tissue are becoming prolific, but many challenges exist to automatically extract relevant information from them using computational tools. We describe publicly available resources that have been developed jointly by expert and non‐expert computational biologists working together during a virtual hackathon
