Precision Calibration System for Partial Discharge Calibrators

open access: yesProceedings of the Nordic Insulation Symposium, 2019
Partial discharge calibrators need to be periodically calibrated traceable to national standards. VTT MIKES, the National Metrology Institute (NMI) of Finland, has official expertise to calibrate the apparent charge of PD calibrators from 1 pC to 100 nC according to IEC 60270.

Research on Calibration Technology of TEV Partial Discharge Smart Sensors

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2021
Abstract TEV partial discharge detection is an important method to judge the insulation status of the switchgear. However, the quality of TEV smart sensors produced by different manufacturers on the market is uneven. Some TEV smart sensors that have been put into operation have deficiencies in measurement sensitivity, data stability, and

Low‐Angle Grain Boundaries and Re‐Segregation in Single‐Crystalline Ni‐Base Superalloys

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates that Re‐segregation at low‐angle grain boundaries (LAGBs) in Ni‐base superalloys is influenced by misorientation angle. Advanced microscopy and atom probe tomography reveal that higher misorientation angles increases Re‐segregation.
