Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Evaluation of Particles Removal Efficiency in Rapid Sand Filters by Changing Particle Concentration and Media Grain Size [PDF]

open access: yesآب و فاضلاب, 2009
Removal of particles by filter is a complex water treatment process. Several factors are involved that include shape and size of filter grains, particle concentration, filtration velocity, and filter depth.

Lattice Particle Filters

open access: yesCoRR, 2013
A standard approach to approximate inference in state-space models isto apply a particle filter, e.g., the Condensation Algorithm. However, the performance of particle filters often varies significantlydue to their stochastic nature. We present a class of algorithms, called lattice particle filters, thatcircumvent this difficulty by placing the particles

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Maximum Correntropy Based Unscented Particle Filter for Cooperative Navigation with Heavy-Tailed Measurement Noises

open access: yesSensors, 2018
In this paper, a novel robust particle filter is proposed to address the measurement outliers occurring in the multiple autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) based cooperative navigation (CN).

A Method for Battery Health Estimation Based on Charging Time Segment

open access: yesEnergies, 2021
The problem of low accuracy and low convenience in the existing state of health (SOH) estimation method for vehicle lithium-ion batteries has become one of the important problems in the electric vehicle field.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Two Stage Particle Filter for Nonlinear Bayesian Estimation

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
The past several decades have witnessed the successful application of sequential Monte Carlo method (or particle filter) to a variety of fields. It has grown to be a popular method in solving different kinds of nonlinear Bayesian estimation problems ...

Iterative Truncated Unscented Particle Filter

open access: yesInformation, 2020
The particle filter method is a basic tool for inference on nonlinear partially observed Markov process models. Recently, it has been applied to solve constrained nonlinear filtering problems.

On coupling particle filter trajectories [PDF]

open access: yesStatistics and Computing, 2017
Particle filters are a powerful and flexible tool for performing inference on state-space models. They involve a collection of samples evolving over time through a combination of sampling and re-sampling steps. The re-sampling step is necessary to ensure that weight degeneracy is avoided.
