Decentralized Control of DC Microgrids Using Interconnection and Damping Assignment Passivity-Based Control Technique: Experimental Verification

open access: yesIEEE Access
A decentralized control approach is introduced in this paper that utilizes passivity-based control for two DC-distributed energy sources supplying the power of a load. Considering the concept of passivity, if each distributed generator exhibits passivity,

Active damping of a DC network with a constant power load: an adaptive passivity-based control approach [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
This paper proposes a nonlinear, adaptive controller to increase the stability margin of a direct-current (DC) small-scale electrical network containing a constant power load, whose value is unknown.

Bias‐Free Highly Efficient and Stable Dye‐Sensitized Photoelectrochemical Cells via Cascade Charge Transfer

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A buried‐junction DSPEC design is introduced that leverages cascade charge transfer to enhance efficiency, stability, and versatility. This approach facilitates effective charge transfer and minimizes recombination losses, leading to significant improvements.

Fractional-Order Sliding-Mode Control and Radial Basis Function Neural Network Adaptive Damping Passivity-Based Control with Application to Modular Multilevel Converters

open access: yesEnergies
This paper proposes a hybrid control scheme that combines fractional-order sliding-mode control (FOSMC) with radial basis function neural network adaptive damping passivity-based control (RBFPBC) for modular multilevel converters (MMC) under non-ideal ...

Passivity-Based Thermohygrometric Control in Buildings

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology, 2018
This paper presents a modeling and control method for the thermohygrometric condition (temperature and humidity) in a multizone building. The interconnection between the zones is captured through an undirected graph. Employing an electrical circuit analogy, rooms represent capacitances, and walls and doors/windows are resistances.

All‐in‐One Analog AI Hardware: On‐Chip Training and Inference with Conductive‐Metal‐Oxide/HfOx ReRAM Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An all‐in‐one analog AI accelerator is presented, enabling on‐chip training, weight retention, and long‐term inference acceleration. It leverages a BEOL‐integrated CMO/HfOx ReRAM array with low‐voltage operation (<1.5 V), multi‐bit capability over 32 states, low programming noise (10 nS), and near‐ideal weight transfer.
