Linking neurogenesis, oligodendrogenesis, and myelination defects to neurodevelopmental disruption in primary mitochondrial disorders

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

On the future of architecture

open access: yesПроект Байкал
In postavantgarde culture, the future has become an object of desire and obvious value. The uncontested belief that every new thing should be accepted as an undoubted good lies at the heart of numerous utopias and speculations.

Does our Past have a Motivational Effect? Our Reasons for Acting: Sartre’s Philosophy of Action

open access: yesEthics in Progress, 2013
The goal of my paper is to consider how one chooses one’s own action. First, I will try to understand how both his past and his environment can condition someone's action.

Is the Past Determined? [PDF]

open access: yesFoundations of Physics, 2020
In a recent paper [1], I argued against backward in time effects used by several authors to explain delayed choice experiments. I gave an explanation showing that there is no physical influence propagating from the present to the past and modifying the state of the system at a time previous to the measurement.

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Les turbulences du temps : linéarités, cycles et résurgences dans The Death of the Heart d’Elizabeth Bowen

open access: yesÉtudes Britanniques Contemporaines, 2009
Critics have often described The Death of the Heart as a Bildungsroman centred on the character of Portia, in her progress towards maturity. If such a vision is undoubtedly valid, this article attempts to show that the novel can be better comprehended by

Organizing the interface—Plasma membrane architecture and receptor dynamics in virus‐cell interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...
