Metasurfaces and other structured photonic environments can dramatically modify the absorption and/or light emission of semiconductors. However, the consequences of these changes on the temperature of the system are not well understood. The authors address this problem for colloidal nanocrystals and leverage their findings to convert light into ...

Evaluating the Costs of Business Cycles in Models of Endogenous Growth [PDF]
In his famous monograph, Lucas (1987) put forth an argument that the welfare gains from reducing the volatility of aggregate consumption are negligible. Subsequent work that has revisited Lucas' calculation has continued to find only small benefits from ...

A room‐temperature aerosol deposition process yields multiphase nano‐clustered dielectric capacitors containing discrete BaTiO3, PbZrO3, and PbTiO3 crystals. This architecture creates three‐dimensional heterointerfaces that induce interfacial charge trapping and effectively inhibit breakdown propagation.

Arc-disjoint hamiltonian paths in Cartesian products of directed cycles
Open access article. Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license (CC BY 4.0) appliesWe show that if C1 and C2 are directed cycles (of length at least two), then the Cartesian product C1 □ C2 has two arc-disjoint hamiltonian paths.

Toward Fast Proton Shuttling in Acidic Oxygen Evolution Reaction
This review establishes proton transfer dynamics as a descriptor governing acidic OER activity, moving beyond the kinetic constraints derived from the proton coupled electron transfer. We discuss how deprotonation governs classical mechanisms, including adsorbate evolution mechanism (AEM), lattice oxygen mechanism (LOM) and oxide path mechanism (OPM ...

Transversal Hamilton paths and cycles
Given a collection $\mathcal{G} =\{G_1,G_2,\dots,G_m\}$ of graphs on the common vertex set $V$ of size $n$, an $m$-edge graph $H$ on the same vertex set $V$ is transversal in $\mathcal{G}$ if there exists a bijection $φ:E(H)\rightarrow [m]$ such that $e \

Equilibrium Cycles in a Two-Sector Economy with Sector Specific Externality [PDF]
In this paper, we study the two-sector CES economy with sector-specific externality (feedback effects) following Nishimura and Venditti \(2004). We characterize the equilibrium paths in the case that allows negative externality.
