Reversible acetylation of Lin28 mediated by PCAF and SIRT1
Lin28 is a small RNA-binding protein that plays an important role in regulating developmental timing, stem cell reprogramming, and oncogenesis. However, the significance of the effect of post-translational modifications on Lin28 activity is not fully understood. In this study, we demonstrated that PCAF directly interacted with and acetylated Lin28.

Cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) are widely engaged in tumor progression in the tumor microenvironment. CAFs interact actively with immunocytes including tumor‐associated macrophages, T cells, neutrophils, and NK cells in a positive‐feedback loop to sculpt tumor immune microenvironment and participate in tumor activities and antitumor therapy ...

Role of Histone Deacetylase and Inhibitors in Cardiovascular Diseases
HDACs play an important role in the occurrence and development of cardiovascular diseases, such as myocardial hypertrophy, hypertension, and atherosclerosis. HDAC inhibitors have broad prospects for the treatment of CVD, and different HDAC subtypes can act through different mechanisms.

Bridging the SME reporting gap: A new model for predicting Scope 1 and 2 emissions
Abstract We present a novel statistical model for predicting Scope 1 and 2 emissions for small and medium‐sized enterprises (SMEs). Trained on financial transaction data from over 100,000 UK SMEs, the model targets a business segment excluded from formal emissions reporting and often under‐engaged in sustainability efforts.

Crystal structure of GCN5 PCAF N-terminal domain reveals atypical ubiquitin ligase structure
General control nonderepressible 5 (GCN5, also known as Kat2a) and p300/CBP-associated factor (PCAF, also known as Kat2b) are two homologous acetyltransferases.

Evolutionary interplay between viruses and R‐loops
Viruses interact with specialized nucleic acid structures called R‐loops to influence host transcription, epigenetic states, latency, and immune evasion. This Perspective examines the roles of R‐loops in viral replication, integration, and silencing, and how viruses co‐opt or avoid these structures.

Expanding enzalutamide (ENZ) use in hormone‐sensitive prostate cancer (HSPC) faces resistance. Single‐cell profiling identifies therapy‐resistant STEAP4+ myofibroblastic cancer‐associated fibroblast (SETAP4+ myoCAF). These myoCAFs drive resistance via TFE3‐mediated autophagy and PCYT1A‐led phosphatidylcholine overproduction, creating a phospholipid ...

This review explores the multifaceted roles of cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) in tumor biology. It examines their diverse origins, dynamic activation via signaling pathways, and spatial–temporal heterogeneity, proposing an updated classification of eight distinct CAF subtypes. The review highlights CAFs' contributions to tumor growth, metastasis,
