Heterogeneous and Monolithic 3D Integrated Full‐Color Micro‐Light‐Emitting Diodes via CMOS‐Compatible Oxide Bonding for µLEDoS

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
A CMOS‐compatible vertically integrated full‐color µLED employing an oxide bonding layer and HM3D technology is first demonstrated for use in µLEDoS applications. The oxide bonding layer provides superior thermal properties compared to the polymer bonding layer, resulting in better device characteristics, such as EQE, color purity, and FWHM, compared ...

Pcodec: Better Compression for Numerical Sequences [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
We present Pcodec (Pco), a format and algorithm for losslessly compressing numerical sequences. Pco's core and most novel component is a binning algorithm that quickly converges to the true entropy of smoothly, independently, and identically distributed (SIID) data. To automatically handle more general data, Pco has two opinionated preprocessing steps.

Numerical performance of Penalized Comparison to Overfitting for multivariate kernel density estimation [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2019
Kernel density estimation is a well known method involving a smoothing parameter (the bandwidth) that needs to be tuned by the user. Although this method has been widely used the bandwidth selection remains a challenging issue in terms of balancing algorithmic performance and statistical relevance.

Sex‐specific and hormone‐related differences in vascular remodelling in atherosclerosis

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Clinical Investigation, Volume 53, Issue 1, January 2023., 2023
Abstract Atherosclerosis, a lipid‐driven inflammatory disease, is the main underlying cause of cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) both in men and women. Sex‐related dimorphisms regarding CVDs and atherosclerosis were observed since more than a decade ago.

Spin susceptibility anomaly in cluster Mott insulators on a partially-filled anisotropic Kagome lattice: applications to LiZn2Mo3O8 [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2014
Motivated by recent experiments on the quantum-spin-liquid candidate material LiZn2Mo3O8, we study a single-band extended Hubbard model on an anisotropic Kagome lattice with the 1/6 electron filling. Due to the partial filling of the lattice, the inter-site repulsive interaction is necessary to generate Mott insulators, where electrons are localized in

Macroeconomic Drivers of Sustainable Tourism Development in Bangladesh: An ARDL Bounds Testing Approach

open access: yesSustainable Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Tourism serves as a critical driver of economic development, yet its relationship with macroeconomic and socio‐political factors remains underexplored in emerging economies like Bangladesh. This study examines the long‐run and short‐run impacts of macroeconomic drivers, including CO₂ emissions, GDP growth, inflation, population growth, road ...
