Identification of the Mutation in DCLRE1C Gene by PCR-RFLP

open access: yesSelcuk Tip Dergisi, 2023

Exploring the Potential and Limitations of PCR-RFLP and PCR-SSCP for SNP Detection: A Review

open access: yesJournal of Applied Biotechnology Reports, 2019
Polymerase chain reaction–single-strand conformation polymorphism (PCR-SSCP) and PCR–restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) are two independent methods used in the post-amplification genotyping of DNA variations.

PCR-RFLP as a useful tool for diagnosis of invasive mycoses in a healthcare facility in the North of Brazil

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Biotechnology, 2015
Background: The incidence of invasive mycoses is increasing worldwide. PCR-RFLP was applied to the identification of 10 reference strains and 90 cultures of agents of invasive mycoses.

A PCR Method That Can Be Further Developed into PCR-RFLP Assay for Eight Animal Species Identification

open access: yesJournal of Analytical Methods in Chemistry, 2018
There are many PCR-based methods for animal species identification; however, their detection numbers are limited or could not identify unknown species.

PCR‐RFLP typing of the bovine myoglobin gene

open access: yesAnimal Genetics, 1994
SummaryWe have identified substitutions in the 31 untranslated region of the bovine myoglobin gene, one of which affects an MboII restriction enzyme site resulting in a bi‐allelic restriction fragment length polymorphism. Co‐dominant inheritance of the alleles in three reference families was observed using a polymerase chain reaction—restriction ...

Cutaneous leishmaniasis in French Guiana: revising epidemiology with PCR-RFLP

open access: yesTropical Medicine and Health, 2017
BackgroundThe development of polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) technique for species identification among patients presenting leishmaniasis allowed to better determine the main circulating species in French ...

Identification of Fel ursi and Cattle and Pig Bile Juices by speciesspecific PCR and PCR-RFLP

open access: yesJournal of Pharmacopuncture, 2009
Objective : This study developed species-specific PCR and PCR-RFLP to detect the adulteration of Fel ursi products with cattle and pig bile juices. Methods : All the primers for PCR and PCR-RFLP in this study were designed based on nucleotide sequences ...

Typing class I HLA-A gene using a nested PCR-RFLP procedure

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Medical and Biological Research, 2005
In order to detect several new HLA-A class I alleles that have been described since 1998, the original PCR-RFLP method developed to identify the 78 alleles recognized at that time at high resolution level was adapted by us for low and medium resolution ...
