Exploring DNA quality of single cells for genome analysis with simultaneous whole-genome amplification

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2018
Single cell genome analysis methods are powerful tools to define features of single cells and to identify differences between them. Since the DNA amount of a single cell is very limited, cellular DNA usually needs to be amplified by whole-genome ...

Power Counting Regime of Chiral Effective Field Theory and Beyond [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Chiral effective field theory complements numerical simulations of quantum chromodynamics (QCD) on a space-time lattice. It provides a model-independent formalism for connecting lattice simulation results at finite volume and a variety of quark masses to

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...

THE USE OF SOLAR STERILIZATION OF SOIL PREPARED FOR FOREST SEEDLING AND ITS EFFECT IN INHIBITING THE GROWTH OF SOIL FUNGI AND MOLECULAR DIAGNOSTICS BY USING PCR TECHNIQUE FUNGI [PDF]

open access: yesMesopotamia Journal of Agriculture
The main aim of this study to isolate fungal pathogens from non-sterilized soils and Molecularly diagnosed to know which fungi affected by solar sterilization,Study was made by covering the soil with a black mulch from june to august with (5)cm depth ...

IMPDH inhibition enhances cytarabine efficacy in SAMHD1‐expressing leukaemia cells via guanine nucleotide depletion

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Influence of Container Volume and Cuttings Size on the Growth Parameters of Seedlings with a Closed Root System of Two Poplar Genotypes in the Voronezh Region

open access: yesInternational Journal of Plant Biology
This study examined the bioproductivity of two poplar genotypes propagated by single-tree stem cuttings. The experiment compared variants using cuttings of different lengths (10–22 cm) and containers with volumes from 1 to 3 L. It was found that the best

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.
