Retrospective study of porcine circovirus 3 (PCV3) in swine tissue from Brazil (1967–2018)
In this study, we report the molecular diagnosis and retrospective study of porcine circovirus 3 (PCV3) in frozen and formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded swine tissues (FFPE) collected from 1967 to 2018 in southeastern Brazil (Espírito Santo and Rio de Janeiro states).

Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) remains a major challenge to swine health and production globally. Among PRRSV‐2 lineages circulating in South Korea, the lineage 1J (L1J)—recently reclassified from lineage Korean clade C (LKC)—has emerged as an epidemiologically significant variant, accounting for approximately 15%–28.9% of ...

Porcine deltacoronavirus (PDCoV) is an emerging enteric pathogen that causes substantial economic losses in the global swine industry. Although neutralizing antibodies (NAbs) are a key indicator of vaccine efficacy, their diagnostic concordance with IgG/IgA levels measured by indirect enzyme‐linked immunosorbent assays (iELISAs) targeting major ...

Evidencia de Circovirus tipo 3 (PCV3) en una granja suina de Costa Rica
The presence of the pathogen Porcine Circovirus 3 (PCV3) is reported for the first time in Costa Rica in a swine farm located in the province of Cartago. The Real Time PCR technique was used. From a total of 56 pools of blood samples from animals with respiratory symptomatology and emaciation, 32 tested positive (57.14%) for PCV3, while 24 tested ...

Porcine circovirus type 3 (PCV3) is a newly emerging virus in the swine industry, first reported recently in 2016. PCV3 assembles into a 2000 bp circular genome; slightly larger than PCV1 (1758-1760 bp), PCV2 (1766-1769 bp) and PCV4 (1770 bp). Apart from

Novel constructs and 1-step chromatography protocols for the production of Porcine Circovirus 2d (PCV2d) and Circovirus 3 (PCV3) subunit vaccine candidates [PDF]
Porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2) has been a major problem for the pig production industry worldwide for decades. While the majority of commercially available vaccines are based on the original PCV2a genotype, the current dominant genotype is PCV2d.
