Porcine circovirus types 2 (PCV2) and 3 (PCV3) are the two most prevalent porcine circoviruses in China, all of which can infect swine herds and cause serious diseases. To detect coinfection with PCV2 and PCV3, primers and probes for duplex PCV2 and PCV3

Diagnostic accuracy of two DNA‐based molecular assays for detection of porcine circovirus 3 in swine population using Bayesian latent class analysis [PDF]
Molecular‐based tools sometimes are the only laboratory techniques available to detect a recently discovered agent, and their validation without the existence of previously described ‘gold standard’ methods poses a challenge for the diagnosticians.

The emergence of the NADC30‐like (Lineage1.8) porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) has accelerated the evolutionary divergence of PRRSV, causing significant economic losses to Chinese swine industry. In the present study, a novel Lineage 7 (L7/Prime Pac‐like) PRRSV strain FJZHK‐2025 was isolated in China.

Perceived adequacy of policy instruments reveals weak targets in the Sustainable Development Goals
Abstract We report the results of a novel worldwide survey on how adequate are existing policy instruments (if any) across the 169 targets of the Sustainable Development Goals. By obtaining more than 130,000 responses about 146 countries from more than 7000 experts, a large‐scale picture of the existence and adequacy of policy instruments emerges. This

GOVERNANCE FROM BELOW A Theory of Local Government With Two Empirical Tests [PDF]
I examine decentralization through the lens of the local dynamics that it unleashes. The national effects of decentralization are simply the sum of its local-level effects.

First detection of PCV4 in swine in the United States: codetection with PCV2 and PCV3 and direct detection within tissues [PDF]
Since PCV4 was first described in 2019, the virus has been identified in several countries in SoutheastAsia and Europe. Most studies have been limited to detecting PCV4 by PCR. Thus, PCV4 has an unclearassociation with clinical disease.
