Determining the Physical Lens Parameters of the Binary Gravitational Microlensing Event MOA-2009-BLG-016 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
We report the result of the analysis of the light curve of the microlensing event MOA-2009-BLG-016. The light curve is characterized by a short-duration anomaly near the peak and an overall asymmetry.

Linking neurogenesis, oligodendrogenesis, and myelination defects to neurodevelopmental disruption in primary mitochondrial disorders

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

Abundant Lump-Type Solutions and Interaction Solutions for a Nonlinear (3+1) Dimensional Model

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematical Physics, 2018
We explore dynamical features of lump solutions as diversion and propagation in the space. Through the Hirota bilinear method and the Cole-Hopf transformation, lump-type solutions and their interaction solutions with one- or two-stripe solutions have ...

The Brightness Distribution of Bursting Sources in Relativistic Cosmologies [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
We present analytical solutions for the integral distribution of arbitrary bursting or steady source counts as a function of peak photon count rate within Friedmann cosmological models.

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Multi-peak solutions for a planar Robin nonlinear elliptic problem with large exponent

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2016
We consider the elliptic equation $\Delta u+u^p=0$ in a bounded smooth domain $\Omega$ in $\mathbb{R}^2$ subject to the Robin boundary condition $\frac{\partial u}{\partial\nu} +\lambda b(x)u=0$. Here $\nu$ denotes the unit outward normal vector on $\

Comparative Studies of the Electrochemical Behavior of Silver Electrode in Chloride, Bromide and Iodide Aqueous Solutions

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrochemical Science, 2010
Comparative studies of the electrochemical behaviour of Ag in aqueous NaCl, NaBr and NaI solutions of various concentrations ranging from 0.1 M to 1.0 M have been made by means of cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry techniques, complemented with SEM

Pseudo-Newtonian Models for the Equilibrium Structures of Rotating Relativistic Stars

open access: yes, 2009
We obtain equilibrium solutions for rotating compact stars including the special relativistic effects. The gravity is assumed to be Newtonian, but we used the active mass density, which takes into account all the energies such as motions of the fluids ...

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.
