Peak-locking centroid bias in Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensing
Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensing relies on accurate spot centre measurement. Several algorithms were developed with this aim, mostly focused on precision, i.e. minimizing random errors.

Construction of single-peak solutions for Grushin equations via reduction method
In this article, we construct single-peak solutions for a class of Grushin equations by using the Lyapunov-Schmidt reduction method, whose concentration points locate on some special critical points of the potential function.

Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...

Multiple solutions for singularly perturbed semilinear elliptic equations in bounded domains
We are concerned with the multiplicity of solutions of the following singularly perturbed semilinear elliptic equations in bounded domains Ω:−ε2Δu+a(⋅)u=u|u|p−2 in Ω, u>0 in Ω, u=0 on ∂Ω.

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Solutions with boundary layer and positive peak for an elliptic Dirichlet problem
In this paper, we study existence of solutions with boundary layer and peaks for an elliptic problem. We prove that the problem has a mountain-pass-type solution, which has a boundary layer and a single peak near the boundary. Moreover, we also study the

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Brexpiprazole which marketed as Rexulti® is a second-generation atypical antipsychotic. A seemingly random and uncontrollable “ghost peak” that vary from below the detection limit to ∼0.2% was observed occasionally during the development of HPLC method ...
