Quantitative Method for the Estimation of Aflatoxins in Peanuts and Peanut Products
Abstract A quantitative method for the estimation of four aflatoxins, based on chromatographic separations and selective destruction of B1 and G1 by nitric acid, has been developed. To enhance the specificity of the method, a sample blank is determined and is used to correct the values for nonspecific interfering substances.
