Cucumber Mosaic Virus Coat Protein Sequesters Host CDPK7‐Like Into Phase‐Separated Condensates to Promote Viral Infection

open access: yesMolecular Plant Pathology, Volume 27, Issue 5, May 2026.
This study reveals a tripartite pesticide–pathogen–host interaction in which the host kinase CDPK7‐like in Nicotiana benthamiana interacts with cucumber mosaic virus coat protein (CMV CP) to form LLPS‐driven condensates that facilitate viral infection.

Determination of Endophytic Fungi as Induce Resistance Agent of Chilli Pepper Against Pepper Yellow Leaf Curl Disease

open access: yes, 2018
Pepper yellow leaf curl disease caused by Pepper yellow leaf curl virus becomes a major problem on chilli pepper in Indonesia since 2000. Endophytic fungi has the potency to suppress plant diseases by acting as induced resistant agent.

Laporan Pertama tentang Infeksi Polerovirus pada Tanaman Cabai di Daerah Bali, Indonesia

open access: yesJurnal Fitopatologi Indonesia, 2013
During a visit to Bali Island in September 2011, we found chilipepper plants exhibiting yellowing symptoms. The infected plants showed quite similar symptom to those of the recently reported Pepper yellow leaf curl virus from Israel and Japan, but there ...

Pepper (Capsicum annuum) Is a Dead-End Host for Tomato yellow leaf curl virus [PDF]

open access: yesPhytopathology®, 2005
Tomato yellow leaf curl (TYLC) is one of the most devastating pathogens affecting tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum) worldwide. The disease is caused by a complex of begomovirus species, two of which, Tomato yellow leaf curl Sardinia virus (TYLCSV) and Tomato yellow leaf curl virus (TYLCV), are responsible for epidemics in Southern Spain. TYLCV also has

Tomato dwarf leaf curl virus, a new bipartite geminivirus associated with tomatoes and peppers in Jamaica and mixed infection with tomato yellow leaf curl virus [PDF]

open access: yesPlant Pathology, 1999
Genomic characterization using nonradioactive probes, polymerase chain reaction with degenerate primers for whitefly transmitted geminiviruses and nucleotide sequencing were used to describe a new bipartite geminivirus, associated with dwarfing and leaf curling of tomatoes and peppers in Jamaica. Partial DNA‐A and DNA‐B clones were obtained.

Deteksi dan Kajian Kisaran Inang Virus Penyebab Penyakit Daun Keriting Kuning Cabai

open access: yesHayati Journal of Biosciences, 2006
High incidence of Pepper yellow leaf curl virus (PepYLCV) was observed in Indonesia since early 2000. Disease incidence in Yogyakarta, Central and West Java reached 100% on Capsicum frutescens, but only 10-35% on C. annuum.

PLDC‐Net: A Domain‐Specific Base Model for Plant Leaf Disease Classification Domain Adaptation Tasks

open access: yesPlant Direct, Volume 10, Issue 4, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Plant diseases are the cause of heavy losses of crop production and, therefore, a big contributor to food shortages. Identifying these diseases as early as possible is important to limit the negative effects that these diseases have on the yields, as slow response time will lead to the spread of diseases and further loss.
