SmallTalk: a novel small‐sized fusion tag for peptide expression and purification

The SmallTalk fusion tag allows for the efficient expression and purification of soluble recombinant proteins or peptides in Escherichia coli. Les données de reproduction sur cinq ans ont été relevées chez des troupeaux de races Holstein et Brune Allemandes à la ferme de l'Université d'Ibadan. L'âge moyen au premier vêlage était de 34,91 ± 4,31 mois, l'intervalle moyen de vêlage de 506,8 jours, la production moyenne de 2,6 veaux par vache et le taux moyen de vêlages de 55,5 p. 100.

Analysis of Treacher Collins syndrome 4‐associated mutations in Schizosaccharomyces pombe

Fission yeast models carrying Treacher Collins syndrome type 4‐associated mutations reveal that impaired processivity of RNA polymerase I leads to defective rRNA transcription. This study highlights the essential role of a conserved arginine residue in Pol I elongation and provides mechanistic insight into the pathogenesis of ribosomopathies.

Down‐regulation of Shh in the hair follicles of mice during chemotherapy‐induced hair loss is mediated by the JAK/STAT1 signaling pathway

We found that during chemotherapy‐induced alopecia (CIA), Sonic hedgehog (Shh) expression significantly decreased in hair follicle Shh+ cells, whereas the Janus‐activated kinase/signal transducer and activator of transcription 1 (JAK/STAT1) signaling pathway was markedly activated.
