TECTB Variants Reveal Tectorial Membrane Vulnerability in Dominant Non‐Syndromic Hearing Loss

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
TECTB is a non‐collagenous protein of the tectorial membrane – an extracellular matrix of the cochlea. This study identifies dominant missense variants in TECTB linked to human hereditary deafness in two unrelated families. Genetically engineered mice homozygous for one of the variants are profoundly deaf, whereas heterozygous mice have normal hearing ...

The study on the clinical efficacy of endometrial receptivity analysis and influence factors of displaced window of implantation

open access: yesScientific Reports
The endometrial receptive status is critical for a successful embryo implantation, but it only last for a short period of time, and the window of implantation (WOI) of each woman changes individually, which will lead to poor outcomes of assisted ...

Advanced Maternal Age in IVF: Still a Challenge? The Present and the Future of Its Treatment

open access: yesFrontiers in Endocrinology, 2019
Advanced maternal age (AMA; >35 year) is associated with a decline in both ovarian reserve and oocyte competence. At present, no remedies are available to counteract the aging-related fertility decay, however different therapeutic approaches can be ...

Targeting the YAP‐BST2 Axis Overcomes Intrinsic Anti‐PD‐1 Resistance in Metastatic Gastric Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Concurrent YAP hyperactivation and Tp53 loss in Atp4b‐expressed parietal cell lineage drives gastric cancer initiation, multi‐organ metastasis, and intrinsic resistance to anti‐PD‐1 therapy. BST2 emerges as a direct YAP‐TEAD transcriptional target that engages PIRA2 on myeloid cells to establish an immunosuppressive microenvironment.

Comparison between Conventional Blind Embryo Transfer and Embryo Transfer Based on Previously Measured Uterine Length

open access: yes, 2020
Background: Embryo transfer (ET) is one of the most important steps in assisted reproductive technology (ART) cycles and affected by many factors namely the depth of embryo deposition in uterus.

Smart Bioinks for 4D Bioprinting: Requirements, Design, and Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Smart bioinks empower 4D‐bioprinted constructs to dynamically adapt and remodel in response to stimuli, effectively biomimicking native tissues. Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) play a guiding role in their rational design by optimizing relevant properties.

Enhancing frozen-thawed embryo transfer outcomes and treatment personalization through machine learning models

open access: yesJournal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics
Infertility affects millions globally, with significant social, emotional, and economic consequences. While frozen-thawed embryo transfer (FET) is a cornerstone of assisted reproductive technology, its clinical pregnancy success rates remain inconsistent (29.6-59.2%). Improving predictive accuracy and personalizing treatment strategies for FET outcomes

West Germany: Strict Rules for in-Vitro Fertilisation and Embryo Transfer

open access: yes, 1985
A nearly unanimous resolution was produced at the Deutscher Arztetag annual meeting, calling for the incorporation of standards for in vitro fertilization (IVF) and embryo transfer procedures into the official rules of professional conduct.

Precision Nanomedicine for Traumatic Neural Injury: Functional Paradigms and Translational Frameworks

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This review presents a pathology‐driven framework unifying nanomedicine across TBI, SCI, and PNI. Epidemiological evidence and comparative single‐cell transcriptomic reanalysis define shared pathological modules, injury‐specific effectors, and therapeutic bottlenecks. Six functional paradigms connect nanomaterial structure and biological fate to injury‐

Unveiling risk factors and developing a predictive nomogram for ectopic pregnancy in polycystic ovary syndrome patients undergoing assisted reproductive technology

open access: yesGynecological Endocrinology
Background Although assisted reproductive technology (ART) may increase the incidence of ectopic pregnancy (EP), the risk of EP and its associated risk factors in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) patients, one of the target populations for ART, remain ...
