Viability of transcervical embryo transfer in goats. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Embryo transfer consists in the deposition of the embryo in the recipient uterus. The results of recipient?s fertility vary widely depending on the origin of these embryos: fresh or cryopreserved and produced in vivo or in vitro.

Window of implantation is significantly displaced in patients with adenomyosis with previous implantation failure as determined by endometrial receptivity assay

open access: yesJournal of Human Reproductive Sciences, 2018
Background: Adenomyosis is associated with implantation failure and poor reproductive performance in IVF/ICSI cycles. Aims: To compare if window of implantation (WOI) is displaced in patients having adenomyosis compared to controls using endometrial ...

Clinical value of histologic endometrial dating for personalized frozen-thawed embryo transfer in patients with repeated implantation failure in natural cycles

open access: yesBMC Pregnancy and Childbirth, 2020
Background Displacement of the window of implantation (WOI) has been proposed as an important factor contributing to repeated implantation failure (RIF).

Zebrafish xenograft models as a fast platform for metastasis diagnosis and cisplatin response of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
A zebrafish xenograft model accurately distinguishes metastatic from non‐metastatic HNSCC and recapitulates cisplatin sensitivity/resistance patterns. Using patient‐derived tumors, it predicts individual therapeutic responses, offering a rapid, clinically applicable platform for guiding personalized treatment. Abstract Background Head and neck squamous

Machine learning-based endometrial ultrasound radiomics habitat analysis for predicting pregnancy outcomes after embryo transfer

open access: yesJournal of Ovarian Research
Background Predicting in vitro fertilization (IVF) pregnancy outcomes is crucial for individualized decision-making. However, due to complex interactions among multiple factors, accurate manual integration and assessment are challenging.

Optimizing Electrode Design for Functional Activation of Human Pluripotent Stem Cell‐Derived Cardiomyocytes

open access: yesAdvanced NanoBiomed Research, EarlyView.
Electrical stimulation of human pluripotent stem cell‐derived cardiomyocytes is systematically investigated as a function of electrode material and configuration. Stimulation efficiency is found to be governed predominantly by electrode geometry, with increased electrode area and proximity to cells enabling more effective pacing.

The use of propensity score matching to assess the effectiveness of the endometrial receptivity analysis in patients with recurrent implantation failure

open access: yesFrontiers in Endocrinology
BackgroundOne potential cause of implantation failure is abnormal endometrial receptivity, and how to objectively evaluate endometrial receptivity has been a matter of great concern.
