PGK algorithm in hyperspectral image compression

2011 International Conference on Electric Information and Control Engineering, 2011
This paper presents compression algorithm of multispectral image. At first multispectral image is converted to N-dimensional space vector, and then using PGK clustering algorithm to cluster compression, Experiments show that this algorithm with the detection vegetation can achieve the purpose of high compression ratio, low algorithm complexity ...

An allelic isozyme of mouse PGK‐2 with low activity

Journal of Experimental Zoology, 1977
AbstractTwo allelic isozymes of PGK‐2, the testicular form of phosphoglycerate kinase, have been described previously in mice. Evidence is now presented for a third allelic isozyme, which is negatively charged and which exhibits much less enzyme activity than the other two.

Differential transcription of Pgk genes during spermatogenesis in the mouse

Developmental Biology, 1992
We have analyzed the occurrence of transcripts produced from the ubiquitously expressed, X-linked Pgk-1 gene and the testis-specific, autosomal Pgk-2 gene during spermatogenesis in the mouse. We found that tissue specificity, developmental specificity, and cell-type specificity of these mRNAs parallel that previously reported for the two protein ...

Molecular Abnormality of a Phosphoglycerate Kinase Variant (PGK-Alabama)

Blood Cells, Molecules, and Diseases, 1995
The molecular abnormality of a phosphoglycerate kinase variant associated with severe red cell enzyme deficiency ( about 4% of normal) and episodes of hemolysis with jaundice was examined. The Michaelis constants for the substrates and co-enzymes (1.3-diphosphoglycerate, 3-phosphoglycerate, ATP and ADP) were not grossly different from that of normal ...

Molecular genetic heterogeneity of phosphoglycerate kinase (PGK) deficiency

Muscle & Nerve, 1995
Phosphoglycerate kinase (PGK; EC 2.7.2.3) is a glycolytic enzyme encoded by a single gene on the X chromosome and ubiquitously expressed. Hereditary PGK deficiency can cause hemolytic anemia, central nervous system dysfunction, and/or myopathy characterized by exercise intolerance, cramps, and myoglobinuria.

Cloning and characterization of the Escherichia coli phosphoglycerate kinase (pgk) gene

Gene, 1989
The pgk gene of Escherichia coli coding for the phosphoglycerate kinase was subcloned from the Carbon and Clarke collection plasmid pLC33-5. The position and direction of transcription of the pgk gene was determined by Tn5 insertion mutagenesis. Analysis of proteins encoded from these plasmids showed that the pgk gene product is a 40-kDa protein, and ...

Molecular cloning and sequencing of a murine pgk-1 pseudogene family

Gene, 1988
Seven genomic mouse DNA fragments carrying pgk-1-homologous regions have been cloned and sequenced. They have to be classified as processed genes because intervening sequences, present in their productive counterpart, are absent. Four pseudogenes (I-IV) represent nearly the complete sequence of pgk-1 cDNA. Two of these genes (I and II), although rather

Disruption of the 3′ phosphoglycerate kinase (pgk) gene in Aspergillus nidulans

Current Genetics, 1993
We report the isolation of a pgk- mutant strain of Aspergillus nidulans by means of a gene disruption strategy, and demonstrate that the pgk gene is located on chromosome VIII. The pgk- mutant conidiates poorly, will only grow on media supplemented with both a glycolytic and a gluconeogenic carbon source, and is inhibited by hexoses.

Structure and expression of the phosphoglycerate kinase (Pgk) gene of Drosophila melanogaster

Molecular and General Genetics MGG, 1992
The gene that encodes phosphoglycerate kinase in Drosophila melanogaster (Pgk) has been isolated and characterized. There is a single copy of Pgk in the Drosophila genome located at cytogenetic position 23A1-2. Transcripts of Pgk are 1.6 kb long and are found during development with a profile similar to the expression pattern of other genes of the ...

Trajectory Errors of the 6-PGK Parallel Robot

2008 First International Conference on Complexity and Intelligence of the Artificial and Natural Complex Systems. Medical Applications of the Complex Systems. Biomedical Computing, 2008
This paper presents a method to determinate a desired trajectory for the manipulated object by the 6-PGK parallel robot, with an imposed velocity, when some vibration motions act in the prismatic motor joints. By using the Lagrangian approach the dynamic equations of motion of the parallel robot were deduced.
