Vildagliptin and Omarigliptin Differentially Bind to DPP‐4 Homodimers and Modulate Osteoclast‐Mediated Bone Resorption

open access: yesComprehensive Physiology, Volume 16, Issue 1, February 2026.
Vildagliptin and omarigliptin, dipeptidyl peptidase‐4 (DPP‐4) inhibitors, have differential effects on bone cells. Although vildagliptin improved the bone microstructure of high‐fat diet‐fed rats, it was unable to downregulate osteoclastogenesis or the expression of key osteoclast transcripts.

Near‐Sensor Analog Computing via Monolithic 3D Piezoelectric Sensor–FeFET for Tactile Sensing System

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 7, 22 January 2026.
A monolithic 3D‐integrated tactile system combines a piezoelectric sensor and ferroelectric field‐effect transistor (FeFET) to process both static and dynamic pressure signals directly at the sensor node. The system enables in‐sensor analog noise filtering with multi‐level memory states, achieving high sensitivity and ultra‐low power operation (≈10 nW),

An Optimal PMU Placement With Reliable Zero Injection Observation

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
Zero injection (ZI) is an inherent characteristic of a power grid. The effect of ZI (ZI effect) is usually utilized as an auxiliary measurement termed ZI observation for simplification. We discover that the ZI observation can transmit. The reliability of

Microgrid Islanding Detection Using D-PMU and Phase Angle Analysis of Negative Sequence Impedance

open access: yesIEEE Access
Unintentional islanding detection is a major challenge during the operation of a microgrid. When islanding occurs, distributed energy resources (DERs) need to be disconnected quickly, under 2 seconds, which makes fast islanding detection crucial.

Enhanced Linear Conductance Modulation by La‐Doping in HfO2‐Based Memristors for Neuromorphic Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, Volume 12, Issue 1, 7 January 2026.
Defect engineering via Lanthanum (La) doping effectively transitions HfO2 memristors from digital to robust analog switching. La incorporation significantly affects the conducting filament dynamics, achieving remarkable linearity and uniformity in conductance modulation.
