The redox‐mediated aluminum–air fuel cell (RM‐AAFC) integrates a soluble redox mediator, 7,8‐dihydroxy‐2‐phenazine sulfonic acid (DHPS), to facilitate the oxidation of aluminum and inhibit hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) through competitive reactions between DHPS reduction and HER on the Al surface.

Arene Selectivity by a Flexible Coordination Polymer Host. [PDF]
The coordination polymers [Ag4 (O2 CCF3 )4 (phen)3 ]⋅phen⋅arene (1⋅phen⋅arene) (phen=phenazine; arene=toluene, p-xylene or benzene) have been synthesised from the solution phase in a series of arene solvents and crystallographically characterised.

Synthesis, Crystal Structure and Bioactivity of Phenazine-1-carboxylic Acylhydrazone Derivatives
A phenazine-1-carboxylic acid intermediate was synthesized from the reaction of aniline and 2-bromo-3-nitro-benzoic acid. It was then esterified and reacted with hydrazine hydrate to afford phenazine-1-carboxylic hydrazine.

The crystalline structure of the phenazine overlayer physisorbed on a graphite surface [PDF]
The monolayer crystal structure of phenazine adsorbed on graphite is determined by a combination of synchrotron X-ray diffraction and DFT calculations. The molecules adopt a rectangular unit cell with lattice parameters a = 13.55 Å and b = 10.55 Å, which

11,12-Dichlorodibenzo[a,c]phenazine [PDF]
The title compound, C20H10Cl2N2, has crystallographic twofold rotational symmetry [maximum deviation from the least-squares plane = 0.038 (1) Å]. In the crystal, weak π-π ring stacking inter-actions occur down the a-axis direction [minimum centroid-centroid separation = 3.7163 (8) Å].
