Biohybrid Computing with Proteinoids and Algae
Advanced Science, EarlyView.We developed a novel biohybrid computing system by combining proteinoid microspheres with algae. The biological mixture creates spontaneous electrical oscillations. These oscillations can perform simple logic operations, such as AND, OR, NAND, and NOR gates. Environmental factors like temperature and pH affect how the system works.
