Advising on Antidepressant Use in Pregnancy: Are We All on the Same Page?

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Psychiatry, Volume 18, Issue 3, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Purpose Perinatal mood disorders are associated with adverse maternal and neonatal outcomes and affect 15%–20% of pregnant people. Guidelines recommend SSRIs when non‐pharmacological therapies are ineffective, yet antenatal depression remains undertreated.

Antioxidant and Cytotoxic Properties of Piper spp. Volatile Oils That Inhibit Pathogenic Microorganisms

open access: yesFlavour and Fragrance Journal, Volume 41, Issue 4, Page 935-942, July 2026.
The samples were fungicidal against Candida, with MICs ranging from 62.5 to 250 μg/mL, and fungistatic against Penicillium adametzii, Aspergillus flavus and A. niger, with MICs of 1000 μg/mL. The volatile oils of Piper aduncum and Piper marginatum reduced the viability of MDA‐MB231 cells.

PrimaDORAC: An improved Web Interface for Rapid GAFF2 Parameter Assignment with ABCG2 Charge Models for Drug Design Applications

open access: yesJournal of Computational Chemistry, Volume 47, Issue 17, 30 June 2026.
A web‐enabled implementation of the ABCG2 charge model within the PrimaDORAC platform provides frictionless GAFF2 ligand parameterization. Systematic chemical‐space analysis reveals class‐dependent correlations and structured deviations relative to AM1‐BCC, facilitating informed adoption of next‐generation electrostatic models in computational drug ...

Copper Complexes with Arylated Triethylenetetramine Ligands: Reactivity Toward Dioxygen and Peroxides

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, Volume 29, Issue 17, 17 June 2026.
Here, we describe new Cu(I)/Cu(II) complexes based on arylated tren ligands and investigate their reactivity toward O2 and peroxides. Low‐temperature–stopped flow studies revealed the formation of transient copper–oxygen species, including superoxido, hydroperoxido, and alkylperoxido intermediates.

Polyurethane Depolymerization With Alkyl, Aryl, and Mixed Carbonates

open access: yesChemSusChem, Volume 19, Issue 11, 15 June 2026.
The depolymerization of polyurethane foams strongly depends on carbonate structure. Aryl carbonates improve hard‐segment solubility but generate side products. Alkyl carbonates give cleaner products yet suffer from limited hard‐block solubility and require anisole as a cosolvent. Mixed carbonate systems balance these effects, improving solubility while

The compensatory enrichment of sphingosine-1-phosphate on HDL in FSGS enhances the protective function of glomerular endothelial cells compared to MCD

open access: yesScientific Reports
Glomerular endothelial cells (GECs) are pivotal in developing glomerular sclerosis disorders. The advancement of focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) is intimately tied to disruptions in lipid metabolism.
