Phosphatidylinositol phosphate kinases.

Journal of endocrinological investigation, 2004
Phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate is a multi-functional lipid, whose proposed functions now number more than twenty, covering many aspects of cell biology in several different subcellular compartments. The enzymes primarily responsible for synthesizing this lipid, the Type I phosphatidylinositol 4-phosphate 5-kinases, are therefore a tightly ...

Effect of neomycin on glycosyl-phosphatidylinositol and phosphatidylinositol system of Tetrahymena.

Microbios, 1996
Neomycin does not inhibit but increases the incorporation of 32P into phosphatidylinositols of Tetrahymena. This elevation is due to neomycin inhibition on the turnover of the phosphatidylinositol (PI) system. Neomycin also prevents the synthesis of glycosyl-phosphatidylinositol (GPI).

Review of Phosphatidylinositol Phosphate Kinase in Phosphatidylinositol Signaling Pathway

2014
Phosphatidylinositol signaling pathway is an important signal transduction pathway that plays critical roles in multiple cell processes first demonstrated in animal cells. Research evidences have shown that although not exactly the same as it is in yeast and mammalian cells, phosphatidylinositol signaling pathway also exists in plant cells and is ...
