Ferritinophagy Rewires Carnitine‐Dependent Lipid Metabolism to Inhibit PRRSV and IAV Replication
NCOA4‐mediated ferritinophagy reprograms carnitine metabolism by disrupting Fe‐S cluster biogenesis, thereby establishing an iron‐lipid axis that suppresses various viruses, including PRRSV and IAV. However, viruses counteract this mechanism by degrading NCOA4.

An improvement of light resistance of the tape for the determination of phosphin and arsine.
A quantitative method, using tapes which have been impregnated with silver nitrate (AgNO3) has been used in the detection of hydride gases such as phosphin and arsine. The hydride gas is absorbed on the surface of the tape and reacts with the silver nitrate to form a stain and the intensity of which can be measured quantitatively by an optics system to

Tailored D‐π Conjugation Boosts Piezocatalytic CO2 Reduction in a Platinum(II)‐Acetylide Framework
The highly conjugated metalII‐acetylide framework demonstrates efficient ultrasound‐driven conversion of CO2 to CO. The piezoelectric field generated by ultrasound facilitates electron transfer from the tetraphenylene π‐column to the MII‐bis(acetylide) moiety, enabling CO2 activation. Compared to PdII‐ and NiII‐based analogues, the stronger d–π orbital

The lesser grain borer Rhyzopertha dominica (F.) is one of the most destructive insect pests of stored grain. This pest has been controlled successfully by fumigation with phosphine for the last several decades, though strong resistance to phosphine in ...

Treatment‐resistant wounds caused by polymicrobial biofilms are refractory to conventional therapies due to the dense extracellular matrices. We developed μBLAST, a microblasting wound dressing that combines MnO2‐doped biosilica and a H2O2‐releasing mesh to generate localized oxygen microbubbles that mechanically disrupt biofilms.

Solution Synthesis of Actinide Chalcogenide and Oxychalcogenide Nanoparticles
We report the synthesis of UOS, UOSe, and US2 nanoparticles under colloidal conditions. The magnetic properties were measured of all three materials and compared to prior studies of UO2 nanoparticles. Nanoparticle phases were determined using powder diffraction, and size by transmission electron microscopy.

From narcosis to recovery: development of a rapid diagnostic test for phosphine resistance
Hydrogen phosphide (PH3) is the most commonly used gas for insect control in durable stored products. One of the quick diagnostic tests that are currently in use is the Detia Degesch Phosphine Tolerance Test Kit (DDPTTK), which has been developed by ...

An ultrasound‐activatable piezoelectric hydrogel reprograms chondrocyte mitochondrial epigenetics via the mTOR/GATD3A axis, clearing damaged mitochondria and alleviating osteoarthritis progression in both mouse models and human cartilage explants. ABSTRACT The avascular nature of cartilage hinders drug delivery for osteoarthritis (OA) therapy.

Cyclopentadienes (CpHs) are fundamental building blocks with widespread applications in chemistry. However, their inherent acidity and isomeric instability have long limited access to chiral variants in an asymmetric fashion. Here, we introduce a CuH‐catalyzed asymmetric transformation that provides an unprecedented entry into a new class of ...
