RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.

Contextual emergence of intentionality [PDF]
By means of an intriguing physical example, magnetic surface swimmers, that can be described in terms of Dennett's intentional stance, I reconstruct a hierarchy of necessary and sufficient conditions for the applicability of the intentional strategy.

Evolutions of Magnetized and Rotating Neutron Stars
We study the evolution of magnetized and rigidly rotating neutron stars within a fully general relativistic implementation of ideal magnetohydrodynamics with no assumed symmetries in three spatial dimensions. The stars are modeled as rotating, magnetized

Rethinking plastic waste: innovations in enzymatic breakdown of oil‐based polyesters and bioplastics
Plastic pollution remains a critical environmental challenge, and current mechanical and chemical recycling methods are insufficient to achieve a fully circular economy. This review highlights recent breakthroughs in the enzymatic depolymerization of both oil‐derived polyesters and bioplastics, including high‐throughput protein engineering, de novo ...

Nanoemulsions: stability and physical properties
Nanoemulsions present several advantages over conventional emulsions due to the small droplets size they contain: high optical clarity, good physical stability against gravitational separation and droplet aggregation, and enhanced bioavailability of encapsulated substances, which make them suitable for food applications.
