Sustainable Strategies for the Recycling of Sodium‐Ion Battery Cathodes Using Organic Acids
This study introduces a novel sustainable hydrometallurgical process for recycling SIB cathodes. Optimized citric acid leaching exceeds the EU Ni recovery target. Subsequent oxalic acid precipitation selectively retrieves Ni and Mn, forming a Mn–Ni oxalate precursor for SIB cathode regeneration.
