Let $f$ be an entire function of order $\rho\in (0,+\infty)$ with zeros on a finite system of rays $\{z: \arg z=\psi_{j}\}$, $j\in\{1,\ldots,m\}$, $0\le ...

Pancreas, Muscle, and Subcutaneous Fat Atrophy in Patients Undergoing Radiation for Neuroblastoma
ABSTRACT Background/Objectives Radiation therapy (RT) is part of standard‐of‐care therapy in high‐risk neuroblastoma (HR‐NBL) but can significantly affect nearby tissue. The objectives of this study were (1) to characterize changes in pancreas volume after RT and (2) to characterize changes in body composition, including body weight percentile ...

A distribution associated with the Kontorovich-Lebedev transform [PDF]
We show that in a sense of distributions \[\lim_{\varepsilon\to 0+} {1\over \pi^2} \tau\sinh\pi\tau \int_{\varepsilon}^{\infty} K_{i\tau}(y)K_{ix}(y){dy\over y} =\delta(\tau-x),\] where \(\delta\) is the Dirac distribution, \(\tau\), \(x\in\mathbb{R ...

ABSTRACT Introduction Patients with ovarian cancer often present with massive ascites, leading to significant protein loss during surgical procedures. Although cell‐free concentrated ascites reinfusion therapy (CART) is used in palliative settings to mitigate protein loss, its application in intraoperative settings remains unexplored.

The Index Bundle for a Family of Dirac-Ramond Operators [PDF]
We study the index bundle of the Dirac-Ramond operator associated with a family $\pi: Z \to X$ of compact spin manifolds. We view this operator as the formal twisted Dirac operator $\dd \otimes \bigotimes_{n=1}^{\infty}S_{q^n}TM_{\C}$ so that its index ...

Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative
