4-(Dimethylamino)pyridinium tetrachlorido(pyridine-2-carboxylato-κ2N,O)stannate(IV)
The reaction of 4-(dimethylamino)pyridine, picolinic acid and stannic chloride yields the title salt, (C7H11N2)[SnCl4(C6H4NO2)], in which the SnIV atom is N,O-chelated by the picolinate ion in a cis-SnNOCl4 octahedral geometry.

Abstract Background A20 haploinsufficiency (HA20) is an autoinflammatory disease driven by pathogenic variants in TNFAIP3, which plays a crucial role in regulating immune responses. The clinical manifestations of HA20 resemble those of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), with prominent gastrointestinal (GI) involvement.

RELAXATION OF ISOLATED AORTA OF THE RABBIT BY PICOLINIC ACIDS [PDF]
When the isolated thoracic aorta of the rabbit was contracted with prostaglandin F2α, 5‐alkylpicolinic acids produced dose‐dependent relaxations. Picolinic acid, 2,5‐pyridinedicarboxylic acid and 5‐acetylpicolinic acid which do not have the 5‐alkyl residue failed to relax blood vessels.

Chytridiomycosis of marine diatoms : the role of stress physiology and resistance in parasite-host recognition and accumulation of defense molecules [PDF]
Little is known about the role of chemotaxis in the location and attachment of chytrid zoospores to potential diatom hosts. Hypothesizing that environmental stress parameters affect parasite-host recognition, four chytrid-diatom tandem cultures ...

In the family of Mn2+ complexes formed with pentadentate bispidine chelates, functional groups that do not interfere with metal coordination can play a significant role in enhancing kinetic inertness and proton relaxation efficacy. Mn2+ bispidine complexes combine unprecedented kinetic inertness with high relaxivity and are under scrutiny as potential ...

Diaquabis(picolinato N-oxide-κ2O,O′)zinc(II)
In the title compound, [Zn(C6H4NO3)2(H2O)2], the Zn atom is located on a centre of inversion and shows a distorted octahedral coordination geometry. Two aqua ligands occupy the axial positions and four O atoms of the two chelating picolinic acid N-oxide ...

Inhibiting tryptophan metabolism enhances interferon therapy in kidney cancer. [PDF]
Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is increasing in incidence, and a complete cure remains elusive. While immune-checkpoint antibodies are promising, interferon-based immunotherapy has been disappointing.

Isomerization of α‐Pinene Oxide to Trans‐Pinocarveol
An operationally simple protocol for the selective isomerization of α‐pinene oxide (APO) to trans‐pinocarveol (TPC) is disclosed, which leverages inexpensive pyridinium‐halide organocatalysts to mitigate competing 1,2‐alkyl shifts. The scalability of this methodology is demonstrated on a decagram scale and catalyst‐recycling is validated through the ...
