Biolipid Film‐Fused Electrochemiluminescence for Multipurpose In Situ Bioassays

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An ECL‐emissive, membrane‐interactive scaffold was fabricated, and facilely fused with natural and non‐native phospholipids into multifactorial mimicries of cytomembranes and vesicles for in vitro representative membrane‐process probing. Such a biointerface‐based, state‐sensitive ECL paradigm not only pinpointed proximal phenomena, including channeling

Periodic Solutions for Nonlinear Integro-Differential Systems with Piecewise Constant Argument

open access: yesThe Scientific World Journal, 2014
We investigate the existence of the periodic solutions of a nonlinear integro-differential system with piecewise alternately advanced and retarded argument of generalized type, in short DEPCAG; that is, the argument is a general step function.

Stability of Neural Ordinary Differential Equations with Power Nonlinearities

open access: yesJournal of Optimization, Differential Equations and Their Applications, 2020
The article presents a study of solutions of ODEs system with a special nonlinear part, which is a continuous analogue of an arbitrary recurrent neural network (neural ODEs).

Active Metamaterials with Tunable Shear Nonreciprocity and Nonlinear Dynamics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Active gear‐based mechanical metamaterials enable simultaneous control of translational and torsional stiffnesses by 30–100×, break shear reciprocity under positive versus negative loads, broadly tune resonant frequencies, and offer programmable dynamic responses.

Mixed finite element methods for linear elasticity with weakly imposed symmetry

open access: yes, 2007
In this paper, we construct new finite element methods for the approximation of the equations of linear elasticity in three space dimensions that produce direct approximations to both stresses and displacements.

Fundamental Challenges, Physical Implementations, and Integration Strategies for Ising Machines in Large‐Scale Optimization Tasks

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Ising machines are emerging as specialized hardware solvers for computationally hard optimization problems. This review examines five major platforms—digital CMOS, analog CMOS, emerging devices, coherent optics, and quantum systems—highlighting physics‐rooted advantages and shared bottlenecks in scalability and connectivity.

Nonlinear Dynamics Analysis of the Wheel-Side Planetary Reducer with Tooth Wear for the In-Wheel Motored Electric Vehicle

open access: yesMathematics
This paper investigates the nonlinear dynamics of the wheel-side planetary reducer, considering the tooth wear effect. The tooth wear model based on the Archard adhesion wear theory is established, and the impact of tooth wear on meshing stiffness and ...

Low‐Power Control Of Resistance Switching Transitions in First‐Order Memristors

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Joule losses are a serious concern in modern integrated circuit design. In this regard, minimizing the energy necessary for programming memristors should be handled with care. This manuscript presents an optimal control framework, allowing to derive energy‐efficient programming voltage protocols for resistance switching devices. Following this approach,

Aspects of Bifurcation Theory for Piecewise-Smooth, Continuous Systems

open access: yes, 2010
Systems that are not smooth can undergo bifurcations that are forbidden in smooth systems. We review some of the phenomena that can occur for piecewise-smooth, continuous maps and flows when a fixed point or an equilibrium collides with a surface on ...

SPICE‐Compatible Compact Modeling of Cuprate‐Based Memristors Across a Wide Temperature Range

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A physics‐guided compact model for YBCO memristors is introduced, incorporating carrier trapping, field‐induced detrapping, and a differential balance equation to describe their switching dynamics. The model is compared with experiments and implemented in LTspice, allowing realistic circuit‐level simulations.
