The Oscillatory Flow of Oldroyd-B Fluid with Magnetic Disturbance
The magnetic field intensity will be nondeterminacy with the flow of charged particles thrown out by solar activities, the overlap of adjacent magnetic islands or non-axisymmetric magnetic interference in tokamaks and so on.

Melnikov analysis in nonsmooth differential systems with nonlinear switching manifold
We study the family of piecewise linear differential systems in the plane with two pieces separated by a cubic curve. Our main result is that 7 is a lower bound for the Hilbert number of this family.

Continuum Mechanics Modeling of Flexible Spring Joints in Surgical Robots
A new mechanical model of a tendon‐actuated helical extension spring joint in surgical robots is built using Cosserat rod theory. The model can implicitly handle the unknown contacts between adjacent coils and numerically predict spring shapes from straight to significantly bent under actuation forces.

A superconvergent linear FE approximation for the solution of an elliptic system of PDEs [PDF]
The aim of this work is to study a nonstandard piecewise linear finite element method for elliptic systems of partial differential equations. This nonstandard method was considered by the authors for scalar elliptic equations and for a planar elasticity ...

Box splines and the equivariant index theorem [PDF]
In this article, we start to recall the inversion formula for the convolution with the Box spline. The equivariant cohomology and the equivariant K-theory with respect to a compact torus G of various spaces associated to a linear action of G in a vector ...

This work presents a state‐adaptive Koopman linear quadratic regulator framework for real‐time manipulation of a deformable swab tool in robotic environmental sampling. By combining Koopman linearization, tactile sensing, and centroid‐based force regulation, the system maintains stable contact forces and high coverage across flat and inclined surfaces.

An Efficient Pseudospectral Method for Solving a Class of Nonlinear Optimal Control Problems
This paper gives a robust pseudospectral scheme for solving a class of nonlinear optimal control problems (OCPs) governed by differential inclusions. The basic idea includes two major stages.

This study presents the de novo design and directed evolution of a mirror‐image D‐protein inhibitor targeting human interleukin‐4 (IL‐4). The engineered molecule exhibits nanomolar binding affinity for IL‐4 and effectively inhibits IL‐4–mediated signaling.

A new method is presented to construct grid multi-wing butterfly chaotic attractors. Based on the three-dimensional Lorenz system, two first-order differential equations are added along with one linear coupling controller, respectively.

Second order parameter-uniform convergence for a finite difference method for a singularly perturbed linear reaction-diffusion system [PDF]
A singularly perturbed linear system of second order ordinary differential equations of reaction-diffusion type with given boundary conditions is considered. The leading term of each equation is multiplied by a small positive parameter.
