Role of Colesevelam in Combination Lipid-Lowering Therapy [PDF]
Hyperlipidemia is associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular events; reducing low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), the primary target for cholesterol-lowering therapy, lowers the risk for such events. Although bile acid sequestrants were

A high performance reverse phase liquid chromatographic procedure is developed for simultaneous estimation of metformin hydrochloride and pioglitazone hydrochloride in combined tablet dosage form. The mobile phase used was a combination of acetonitrile:water:acetic acid (60:40:0.3) and the pH was adjusted to 5.5 by adding triethylamine.

Endoplasmic reticulum (ER) Ca2+ dysregulation drives β‐cell dysfunction under diabetic stressors like methylglyoxal, which inhibits the sarco/endoplasmic reticulum Ca2+‐ATPase (SERCA) pump through oxidative modifications. We show that synthetic SERCA activators restore pump activity after methylglyoxal‐induced damage.
