Pharmacological Influences on the R2 Blink Reflex Response in Healthy Participants: A Systematic Review

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Neuroscience, Volume 64, Issue 3, August 2026.
Pharmacological modulation of the R2 blink reflex was comparable whether responses were elicited using standard patch or concentric electrodes. Across nine studies, noradrenergic and GABAergic interventions produced the most consistent effects, supporting the R2 blink reflex as a sensitive biomarker of trigeminofacial nociceptive processing.

Toxico-Neurological Effects of Piroxicam in Monogastric Animals

open access: yesJournal of Experimental Neuroscience, 2016
Piroxicam is a benzothiazine compound with anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, and analgesic properties. Because of the very high efficacy of piroxicam and its increasing use in the treatment of carcinomas in dogs and cats, there is a need for acute toxicity

Fluorinated Aminopiperidones as Non‐Glutarimide Thalidomide Analogs: Stereodivergent Synthesis and Validation

open access: yesChemMedChem, Volume 21, Issue 13, 14 July 2026.
Fluorinated aminopiperidones, designed as non‐glutarimide thalidomide analogs, were synthesized with full regio‐ and stereocontrol. The C*–CF3 used as carbonyl surrogate improved solubility and membrane interactions while abolishing cereblon binding.

From Molecular Complexes to Functional Frameworks: A Journey through Noncovalent Interactions in Coordination Assemblies and Organic Crystals

open access: yesThe Chemical Record, Volume 26, Issue 7, July 2026.
Coordination chemistry offers a versatile platform where noncovalent interactions play a critical role in driving the formation of self‐assemblies and supramolecular structures. This account chronicles our research trajectory, guided by the fundamental investigations into the structures and properties of transition metal complexes, toward the ...

Consistency and clarity of pharmacogenomic guidance in UK medicine patient information leaflets: A cross‐sectional analysis

open access: yesBritish Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, Volume 92, Issue 6, Page 1934-1939, June 2026.
Pharmacogenomic (PGx) information has the potential to support the safe and effective use of medicines, yet there is uncertainty about how this information can be best communicated to patients. Summaries of product characteristics (SmPCs) and patient information leaflets (PILs) for all UK‐approved medicines with strong evidence supporting a PGx ...

STABILITAS FISIKA DAN KIMIA REKRISTAL DAN DISPERSI PADAT PIROKSIKAM-PEG 6000

open access: yesPharmaciana, 2015
It is hoped that solid dispersion and recrystalization can solve the problem of low solubility of piroxicam. Metastable polymorph or amorph state can be formed in solid dispersion and recrystalization preparation, leading to a better dissolution. During
