Horizontality: From "Window" to "Ground", Exploring Immersive Audiotory Space as an Interactive Participant Medium

open access: yes, 2013
My sound-based arts practice is currently concerned with the shift of focus from the materiality of the sonic art object to the conceptual and semantic dimensions involved in interaction within a system. The twentieth century saw the dawn of technologies

Plant-based protein sources applied as ingredients in meat analogues sustainable production

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Food Technology
Abstract Though obtained from vegetable ingredients, meat analogues are replacers of traditional meat products. They mimic the flavor, juiciness, and texture and look similar to their counterparts. The innovation relies on addressing nutrition, wellness, environmental, and social issues.

DualPG‐DTA: A Large Language Model‐Powered Graph Neural Network Framework for Enhanced Drug‐Target Affinity Prediction and Discovery of Novel CDK9 Inhibitors Exhibiting in Vivo Anti‐Leukemia Activity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study introduces DualPG‐DTA, a framework integrating two pre‐trained models to generate molecular and protein representations. It constructs dual graphs processed by specialized neural networks with dynamic attention for feature fusion, achieving superior benchmark performance.

Early Detection of Cell Death Using Transmembrane Water Exchange Magnetic Resonance Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Cell death is important in both the development and treatment of cancer. In this study, it is demonstrated for the first time that a specific measurement of the transmembrane water exchange rate using magnetic resonance imaging can be used as an early marker of cell death in mammalian cells, in animals and in human patients. Abstract Cell death plays a

Combined Photothermal and mTOR‐Targeted Therapy Overcomes Immune Evasion and Enhances Checkpoint Blockade Efficacy in Metastatic Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals that photothermal therapy, while inducing immunogenic cell death in triple‐negative breast cancer, paradoxically activates the oncogenic mTOR pathway to drive immune evasion. To counter this, a smart nanocomposite is engineered to co‐deliver localized hyperthermia and mTOR inhibition.

The Evolutionarily Conserved TPM1 Super‐Enhancer Drives Skeletal Muscle Regeneration via Mechanotransduction Signaling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
By integrating biomechanical and epigenetic cues, the evolutionarily conserved TPM1 super‐enhancer drives myogenesis via TEAD4‐mediated chromatin looping. This mechanism produces species‐specific outputs (linear TPM1 mRNA in mice and CircTPM1 in bovine) that activate PI3K/AKT mechanotransduction and the MYH10/MYL3 axis to execute cytoskeletal ...
