2014Cancer chemoprevention is the use of natural, synthetic or biologic compounds to reverse, suppress or prevent the development of invasive cancer. Phytochemicals are becoming increasingly important sources of chemopreventive agents, particularly as they can reveal their beneficial potential at all stages of tumor formation.
