Engineering the 3′‐UTR of Tobacco Vein Mottling Virus to Confer Cross‐Protection Against Potyviruses
The 3′‐untranslated region (3′‐UTR) and its secondary structure of virus genomic RNA of tobacco vein mottling virus (TVMV) are important in symptoms attenuation, which can be engineered for cross‐protection against further viral infection. We provide experimental evidence that supports the roles of 3′‐UTR in potyvirus infection.

Enteric glia in humans, mice, and rats express all known receptors for TcdA (LDLR) and TcdB (CSPG4, FZD‐1, FZD2, FZD7, PVRL3, TFPI, LRP1). CSPG4 expression is increased in colonic tissues from humans and mice with C. difficile infection, as well as in rat enteric glia exposed to TcdA or TcdB. C.

ABSTRACT Enterovirus D68 (EV‐D68) is a significant cause of respiratory and neurological disease worldwide. In 2024, Spain experienced its largest recorded EV‐D68 outbreak, accounting for 37.4% of all typed EV (294/892). This study describes the epidemiological, clinical, and phylogenetic features of EV‐D68 infections.
