Palaeoenvironmental records along the eastern coast of Thailand remain sparse, with only a few studies attempting to reconstruct past climatic and environmental conditions. However, additional palaeoenvironmental, palaeoclimatic and sea‐level records are needed to improve our understanding of coastal evolution and local environmental changes.

Pollen tube growth in mandarin

Pollen tube growth was studied in cvs. Monica, Reyna, Dancy, and Satsuma mandarin (Citrus reticulata unshiu Marc). Pollen tubes were stained with lacmoid and observed with a white light microscope. Lacmoid stained the callose brilliant blue. Pollen grains deposited on the stigma varied from 367 to 4170 among the four cultivars.

Glacial erosion during the Last Glacial Maximum (LGM) has removed much evidence of earlier glaciations and interglacials in the European Alps. At Gröbminger Mitterberg (GM), beneath a blanket of LGM till, a distinctive sediment archive preserves deposits predating the LGM.

A Walk in the Park: Influence of Natural Co‐Exposure to Grass Pollen and Fungal Spores on Nasal Mycobiome and Cytokine Responses

Volunteers stayed 3 h indoors and followed 1 h outdoors in a flowering meadow. Nasal mycobiome was analysed and aeroallergen content measured in nasal filters. Airborne fungal spores were quantified and fungal isolates were sequenced. Isolated fungal spores were used for stimulation of nasal epithelial cells.

Competitive Interactions Between Generalist Predators and Their Effects on Shared and Non‐Shared Pests in a Greenhouse Crop

Orius laevigatus engages in unidirectional intraguild predation on Transeius montdorensis. Despite this, both predators coexisted and suppressed the shared thrips prey.
