Ultrastructural nucleolar alterations induced by an ametantrone - Poly r(A-U) complex

open access: yes, 1998
The current study has documented changes in the ultrastructure as well as in the intranucleolar distribution of rDNA and rRNA in RT4 (human transitional cell bladder carcinoma) cell nucleoli following a 3-h exposure to toxic doses of 50 μM ametantrone ...

Dual PI3K/AKT and CDK4/6 inhibition reveals selective sensitivity in an SHH medulloblastoma stem cell model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Targeted therapy was evaluated in SHH medulloblastoma using neuroepithelial stem cell (NES) and tumor‐derived NES‐like (tNES) models in 2D monolayers and 3D spheroids. PI3K, AKT, and CDK4/6 inhibitors had minimal effects in NES but markedly reduced viability and growth and induced apoptosis in tNES cells, revealing distinct therapeutic vulnerabilities.

Synthesis and cell adhesion studies of linear and hyperbranched poly(butyl methacrylate) and poly(t-butyl acrylate) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
A library of polymers/oligomers with three different architectures was synthesised. Short chain, linear oligomers were produced by performing oxidative cleavage on a poly(butyl methacrylate-co-butadiene) polymer.

Involutive representations of coordinate algebras and quantum spaces

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2017
We show that s u 2 $$ \mathfrak{s}\mathfrak{u}(2) $$ Lie algebras of coordinate operators related to quantum spaces with s u 2 $$ \mathfrak{s}\mathfrak{u}(2) $$ noncommutativity can be conveniently represented by SO(3)-covariant poly-differential ...

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Construction of an Immobilized Thermophilic Esterase on Epoxy Support for Poly(ε-caprolactone) Synthesis

open access: yesMolecules, 2016
Developing an efficient immobilized enzyme is of great significance for improving the operational stability of enzymes in poly(ε-caprolactone) synthesis.

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Biochemical Characterization and Degradation Pattern of a Novel Endo-Type Bifunctional Alginate Lyase AlyA from Marine Bacterium Isoptericola halotolerans

open access: yesMarine Drugs, 2018
Alginate lyases are important tools to prepare oligosaccharides with various physiological activities by degrading alginate. Particularly, the bifunctional alginate lyase can efficiently hydrolyze the polysaccharide into oligosaccharides.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.
