Enzymatic hydrolysis of "Polydextrose".

open access: yesJournal of the Japanese Society of Starch Science, 1989

Determination of Polydextrose as Dietary Fiber in Foods [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of AOAC INTERNATIONAL, 2000
Abstract Polydextrose (Litesse®) provides physiological effects consistent with dietary fiber. However, AOAC methods for measuring total dietary fiber (TDF) in foods include an ethanol precipitation step in which polydextrose and similar carbohydrates are discarded and therefore not quantitated. This study describes a method developed to

LF‐NMR for Assessing the Influence of Cryoprotectant Additives on Functional Properties and Feasibility of 3D Printing of Atlantic Cod (Gadus morhua) Surimi

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Chemistry, Volume 63, Issue 10, Page 824-835, October 2025.
LF‐NMR assessment of the complex gelling processes of 3D printed surimi from Atlantic cod sidestreams, as affected by different cryoprotectants, was conducted. High‐quality products from sidestreams are necessary for full utilization of the raw material and more sustainable food processing.

Liquid Chromatographic Determination Of Polydextrose In Food Matrixes

open access: yesJournal of AOAC INTERNATIONAL, 1990
Abstract A liquid chromatographic (LC) method has been developed to determine the content of polydextrose, a water-soluble 1 calorie/g bulking agent, in food matrixes such as cookies, cakes, fruit spreads, and chocolate toppings. This analysis, which requires use of a blank matrix, provides a feasible means to control the manufacture of ...

Development of a Reliable Purity Method for Ataluren in a Sachet Formulation Through the Analysis of Its Stress Degradation Behavior Using HPLC, LC‐MS, and 2D‐NMR

open access: yesSEPARATION SCIENCE PLUS, Volume 8, Issue 8, August 2025.
ABSTRACT Ataluren is a medication commonly used for Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Currently, it is available in granules for oral suspension. A unique reverse‐phase HPLC approach with a UV detector was established to detect and quantify ataluren and its degradation components in medicinal products. This technique utilized a phenyl hexyl stationary phase

Polydextrose in Lipid Metabolism [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Dietary fiber include fibers from natural sources (such as fruits, vegetables, and wholegrain cereals), fibers that are extracted or obtained by other means from food material, and synthetic carbohydrate polymers, that have been shown to possess physiological health benefits [1, 2].
