Synthesis of polyfunctionalized methylphosphine oxides

Russian Chemical Bulletin, 2012
N,N-Dialkylamino(diphenylphosphoryl)chloromethanes, a new type of organophosphorus compounds, were synthesized. On dissolving in polar and low polar solvents, N,N-dialkylamino(diphenylphosphoryl)chloromethanes dissociate spontaneously with the P—C bond cleavage to form the diphenylphosphinite anion Ph2PO−.

Pentagonal Dodecahedranes:  Polyfunctionalization and MS Fragmentation

The Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2001
With the use of four- to eight-fold functionalized dodecahedranes (1-3), opportunities to arrive at highly strained dodecahedranes with two to four pairs of vicinal, eclipsed bromine substituents through front-side substitution and addition reactions have been explored.

Stereoselective access to polyfunctionalized decalins

Tetrahedron Letters, 1994
As a model of a stereoselective approach to ajugareptansin 1, a versatile and straightforward access to polyfunctionalized cis or trans decalins is presented. It is based on a Lewis acid-mediated addition of furan to the unsaturated ketoester 3 followed by oxidative opening of the furan to give cis decalins by an aldolisation process.

Polyfunctionally Pyrazole Azo Dyes

Pigment & Resin Technology, 1994
In recent years heterocyclic azo dyes have been the subject of an intense research by dye manufacturers. Even so, little has been devoted to technical properties, so we have recently directed our research activities towards studying the ability of thiazole azo and hydrazono disperse dyes for dyeing of polyester and cellulose acetate.

Synthesis of polyfunctionally substituted pyridazines

Liebigs Annalen der Chemie, 1990
AbstractThe pyridazines 3, 4, 5, and 7 were obtained by reaction of the hydrazone derivatives 2 with several reagents. By treatment of 5 with acetic acid/hydrochloric acid, the pyrazolo[4,3‐c]‐pyridazine 6 was formed. The pyrido‐pyridazine derivatives 8 and 9 were obtained by reaction of 2 and 3 with malononitrile and ethyl cyanoacetate, respectively ...

Study of polysemy and polyfunctionality in terminology

International Journal Of Literature And Languages
This thesis analyzes the linguistic features of the phenomenon of polyfunctionality and polysemy the opinions expressed by linguists to it. It is known that the feature of polyfunctionality of language units has been known to linguists since the beginning. But in different linguistic paradigms, the linguistic approach to this phenomenon ...

The syntax of modal polyfunctionality revisited

2014
This paper deals with the semantics and the syntax of modal constructions from a cross-linguistic perspective. It focuses on the syntactic representation of modal polyfunctionality, usually understood as the semantic alternation between root and epistemic readings.
