Physicochemical Characterization of Degradable Thermosensitive Polymeric Micelles
Amphiphilic AB block copolymers consisting of thermosensitive poly(N-(2-hydroxypropyl) methacrylamide lactate) and poly(ethylene glycol), pHPMAmDL-b-PEG, were synthesized via a macroinitiator route. Dynamic light scattering measurements showed that these block copolymers form polymeric micelles in water with a size of around 50 nm by heating of an ...

Helper and ionizable lipids play a crucial role in determining ApoE binding and subsequent liver tropism and LDLR‐mediated uptake. Ionizable lipids primarily govern the LDLR‐independent uptake pathway. This complementary interplay between lipid components ultimately governs LNP delivery performance and therapeutic efficacy in the liver.

Optimization Of Detergent-Mediated Reconstitution Of Influenza A M2 Protein Into Proteoliposomes [PDF]
We report the optimization of detergent-mediated reconstitution of an integral membrane-bound protein, full-length influenza M2 protein, by direct insertion into detergent-saturated liposomes.

ABSTRACT Liver fibrosis is a serious yet reversible intermediate stage in the progression of liver disease, which can ultimately advance to cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma. Targeted and selective inhibition of activated hepatic stellate cells (aHSCs) has emerged as a promising therapeutic strategy for the treatment of liver fibrosis.

Preparation and Evaluation of Econazole Nitrate Polymeric Micelle Solution as an Eye Drop
Econazole nitrate, a chemically produced triazole drug, is utilized to manage fungal keratitis. It has potent antifungal properties against many species; the readily available formula exhibits inadequate corneal permeability, visual aberrations ...

Chiral Metal Halide Perovskites for Spin‐Polarized Light‐Emitting Diodes
Chiral metal–halide perovskites offer a route to circularly polarized light without external polarizers. This Perspective compares two spin‐light emitting diode concepts: intrinsically chiral emissive layers and chiral spin‐filter interlayers that inject spin‐polarized carriers into efficient achiral emitters.

Chirality Transfer via Orientational Order of Micellar Assemblies on Gold Nanocrystals
A mechanism for chiral growth of Au nanocrystals mediated by orientational order of chiral micelles at seed surfaces is demonstrated. 3D electron microscopy and molecular dynamics simulations reveal how alignment of the micelles along crystal directions and torsion–orientation coupling govern chirality transfer, providing a framework to rationalize ...
