Neuropathic pain and poor sleep quality were prevalent in diabetic patients. It was found that the duration of DM and microvascular complications, particularly neuropathy, impaired sleep quality. Age, diabetes duration, and neuropathic pain severity were strongly correlated with poorer sleep quality.
