Deciphering pH Behavior in Deep Eutectic Solvents: Synergizing Experimental Data and Computational Modeling

Proton activity in deep eutectic solvents (DESs) remains difficult to quantify. Here, pH in hydrophilic and hydrophobic DESs is probed by combining glass electrode measurements with ultraviolet–visible (UV–vis) pH indicators and Gaussian process (GP) machine learning (ML).
