Phenotypic and genotypic characterization of single circulating tumor cells in the follow‐up of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.

Experimental investigation on dilatancy behavior of water-saturated sandstone

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mining Science and Technology, 2018
It is important to study the dilatancy property of water-saturated rock for understanding the engineering behavior of loaded rock mass. This study carried out the uniaxial and triaxial compressive experiments on the water-saturated red sandstone ...

Stability Analysis of Shield Inclined Tunnel Faces under the Change Effect of Soil Heterogeneity and Pore Water with Buried Depth

open access: yesGeofluids, 2022
The purpose of this work is to look at how soil heterogeneity and pore water pressure impact shield inclined tunnel excavation face stability as burial depth varies.

Analisis Perubahan Nilai Suction Akibat Hujan Terhadap Kestabilan Lereng [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Infiltration of rainfall into slope will have an effect on to condition of slope hydrology and more specifically to characteristic of slope soils, for example pore water pressure value, level of saturation, weight contents of soil, shear strength of soil.

Effects of thermo-osmosis on hydraulic behaviour of saturated clays [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Despite a body of research carried out on thermally coupled processes in soils, understanding of thermo-osmosis phenomenon in clays and its effects on hydromechanical behavior is incomplete.

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Capillary rise dynamics of liquid hydrocarbons in mesoporous silica as explored by gravimetry, optical and neutron imaging: Nano-rheology and determination of pore size distributions from the shape of imbibition fronts

open access: yes, 2015
We present gravimetrical, optical, and neutron imaging measurements of the capillarity-driven infiltration of mesoporous silica glass by hydrocarbons. Square-root-of-time Lucas-Washburn invasion kinetics are found for linear alkanes from n-decane (C10 ...

Revisiting the thermodynamics of hardening plasticity for unsaturated soils [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
A thermodynamically consistent extension of the constitutive equations of saturated soils to unsaturated conditions is often worked out through the use a unique 'effective' interstitial pressure, accounting equivalently for the pressures of the ...

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Study on the dynamic evolution of coal pore under variable pressure water injection environment

open access: yesMeitan xuebao
The effects of different water injection pressures and confining pressures on the initial pore structure of coal during the water injection process in coal seams are investigated to improve the application effects of water injection technology in dust ...
