Establishment of a CRISPR/Cas9-Based Genome Editing System in Macrobrachium rosenbergii
The giant freshwater prawn Macrobrachium rosenbergii is a globally farmed decapod species of high economic and nutritional value, but its genetic improvement has been constrained by the lack of an efficient genome editing workflow.

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

AI Era Classroom Beyond Post-Editing: Custom Gpts in Translator Training
The article addresses the current pedagogical dissonance in translator training, where Large Language Models (LLMs) are either banned or students are confined to the remedial task of post-editing of LLM output, neglecting the critical up- and downstream ...

This preliminary study investigates the usefulness of sentence-level Quality Estimation (QE) in English-Chinese Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE), focusing on its impact on post-editing speed and student translators' perceptions. It also explores the interaction effects between QE and MT quality, as well as between QE and translation expertise ...

The advancement in Neural Machine Translation (NMT) has significantly improved the localisation of content across multiple languages, offering fluency and efficiency. However, in complex applications, such as the translation of video games, where there is a need to preserve original player experiences, NMT alone cannot capture subtleties such as humour.

Golgi enzymes are retrieved from the plasma membrane to the trans‐Golgi network
Golgi enzymes are traditionally considered resident proteins retained within the Golgi apparatus. Here, we demonstrate that a subset transiently reaches the cell surface and is subsequently retrieved to the trans‐Golgi network via retrograde transport. Using a nanobody‐based toolkit, we uncover a dynamic trafficking cycle of several Golgi enzymes.
